Freeholders pushing for lower deferment rates and higher premiums in new Lands Tribunal case

The Cadogan Estate are appealing the case of a house in Cadogan Square where it is believed they will be arguing for a further reduction in the deferment rate to 3.75% for houses with leases under 21 years in length.

If the freeholders are successful, this could mean more expensive premiums for leaseholders in 2009.
